The Lady Baxter is a cannon captured from the Confederacy that was refurbished by Elisha Baxter's supporters during the Arkansas Insurrection known as the Brooks-Baxter War of 1874. The cannon can be seen at The Old State House on Markham Street between the Peabody and Doubletree Hotels near the River Market District.
